This food photography session took me to a quaint little Thai restaurant called Holy Khao. All of the dishes that I photographed were colorful and beautifully plated which made shooting these dishes pleasant.

The owner, Amanda was super nice and offered some history of the Lao sausage that they serve on their menu now. The idea was born in 2020 during the pandemic and they were very delicious. You can see photos of this delectable Lao sausage on my Instagram.

The real credit came when trying the food. OMG! The curry was AMAZING! I had the red curry and every single bite was simply a mini explosion in my mouth with every bite! I had to showcase this photo here. 

I can't stop talking about this curry dish. You should definitely check out the restaurant and tell them their photographer sent you!

BTW the photo pictured here also won "distinguished image" in a photo competition in our local Dallas Professional photographers guild and a Merit with the national Professional Photographers of America competition. I am another step closer in getting my masters in photography! That means that this dish is absolutely FIRE!
